Customer Care Assistant (Permanent, Full Time Office Staff Role)

Location: Chilmark, Wiltshire, SP3 5AF

We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and proactive Customer Service Assistant to join our team at S&N British Data Archive. Situated in the beautiful rural village of Chilmark, our family-run business specialises in a wide range of products.

In this role, you will support our customers with their orders and ensure they receive great service. Full training will be provided. This position is well-suited to school, college, or university leavers, though applicants with previous customer service experience are welcome.

Key Responsibilities

Responding to customer enquiries via phone and email
Delivering high-quality customer service and support
Picking, packing, and dispatching orders
Assisting with general office administration as required

Requirements

Good written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
Confident computer skills
Prior experience in a customer-facing role is a plus, but not required
